Enterprise development is one of the seven elements used in the BEE scorecard and consists of monetary or non-monetary contributions in favour of an entity.

 

The enterprise development contribution must have four basic goals:

 

1. Acceleration of development;

2. Assisting with sustainability;

3. Achieving financial independence; and

4. Operational independence.
